Coffee in Nicaragua: northern highland routes
Coffee can connect northern towns, producers and mountain landscapes, but not every working plantation currently offers visits.
What you can experience
Matagalpa combines coffee and forest, while Jinotega adds highland scenery. Estelí and Nueva Segovia can extend the route to other producers.
How to plan access
Choose a farm or guided experience and confirm whether visitors are admitted, which language is used, the access road and any tasting.
